The working principle of an electro-hydraulic servo synchronous bending machine can be further subdivided into the following steps:
Upper and lower mold centering: During the bending process, the upper mold moves downward under the control of the electro-hydraulic servo system to align with the lower mold. This process is precisely controlled by a displacement sensor and pressure sensor in the electro-hydraulic servo system. The displacement sensor can monitor the position of the upper mold in real time, while the pressure sensor can monitor the pressure applied by the upper mold on the metal sheet. Through precise control of these two parameters, the upper and lower molds can be centered and ensure uniform pressure on the metal sheet during bending.
Side pressure device extension: After centering, the side pressure device extends to flatten the sheet metal against the mold surface. The side pressure device is typically composed of multiple hydraulic cylinders that can control the pressure and extension angle in each region separately. The numerical control system adjusts the pressure and motion speed of each cylinder through the electro-hydraulic servo valve according to the preset bending shape and parameters, ensuring uniform pressure on the metal sheet in all directions.
Bending process: After the metal sheet is clamped and flattened, the upper and lower molds begin to move downward according to the preset bending shape and parameters. During this process, the electro-hydraulic servo system precisely controls the pressure and motion of the hydraulic cylinder based on the instructions from the numerical control system, ensuring that the bending angle and shape are consistent with the presets. At the same time, the numerical control system also monitors various parameters during the bending process, such as the pressure of the hydraulic cylinder and the position of the upper and lower molds, allowing for timely adjustments in the event of any abnormalities.
Release and extraction: After the bending process is completed, the side pressure device relaxes its pressure first, then lifts the mold to remove the bent metal sheet from the machine. The main components of an electro-hydraulic servo synchronous digital control bending machine include the following:
Host machine: The host machine consists of a frame, a workbench, upper and lower mold devices, and side pressure devices. The frame and workbench are typically made of high-strength steel to support the entire device and withstand the high-intensity pressure during bending. The upper and lower mold devices are dies used for bending the metal sheet, and their shapes and sizes are customized according to needs. The side pressure devices are used to flatten the metal sheet against the mold surface and can also correct centering.
Electro-hydraulic servo system: This system includes an electro-hydraulic servo valve, hydraulic cylinder, and pressure sensor. The electro-hydraulic servo valve is the core of the system, which receives instructions from the numerical control system and translates them into hydraulic cylinder motion and pressure control. The hydraulic cylinder acts as an actuator, converting the output of the electro-hydraulic servo valve into actual motion and pressure.
